LAVIDGE IMPACT Supports Global Health Initiative with Project C.U.R.E.

July 30, 2025

In early July, LAVIDGIANS closed their computers to spend the morning sweating and sorting for Project C.U.R.E.

Ten team members donated three hours of their time to work with Project C.U.R.E. by sorting inventory, organizing supplies, loading containers for shipments and helping the Project C.U.R.E. team with anything they needed.

“IMPACT events are always fun because we get to step out of our day-to-day work routines and come together to help communities,” says Brooke Sanches, public relations account coordinator. “I love bonding with our team at these events and sharing a mutual passion for helping others.”

Project C.U.R.E. is an international nonprofit organization with a distribution center in Phoenix. Their mission is to collect, sort and send medical supplies and equipment to communities in need. In addition to supplying medical aid, Project C.U.R.E. also offers international medical training, medical relief volunteer opportunities and medical mission trips.

“The most recent event at Project C.U.R.E. allowed us to send medical equipment and supplies to countries that need it the most,” adds Sanches. “It was cool to not only see the different products but to organize them knowing that they will be shipped all across the world to people in need, maybe even saving a life.”
