LAVIDGE Empowers Community with Lasagna Love at August IMPACT Event

Layering Love During August’s IMPACT Event

The ultimate recipe for making a difference is many hands and nourishing meals. LAVIDGIANS met at the office on August 1 for the month’s IMPACT event, Lasagna Love.

As part of this event, several volunteers cooked 20 pounds of ground meat prior to the assembly at the office. Twenty IMPACT volunteers joined to assemble, wrap and label the lasagnas. To complete the project, several LAVIDGE employees hand delivered ready-to-bake meals to grateful recipients moved by the generosity. By day’s end, LAVIDGE had provided 20 lasagnas to families in need.

“This was a new and creative way for us to live our IMPACT values,” says Sandra Torre, IMPACT Founder and LAVIDGE Co-President. “It’s simple, heartfelt, and meaningful—and a delicious way to make a difference.”

Lasagna Love is a global kindness movement that began with one mom during the pandemic and has grown into thousands of volunteers cooking and delivering meals to those who need a little extra love.

Their mission is to feed families, spread kindness, and strengthen communities. They focus on removing barriers to asking for help, ensuring dignity and support and delivering kindness without judgement or qualifications.
