LAVIDGE Snags 12 Trophies in AZIMA’s 2023 TIM Awards

CIO Stephen Heitz named Matthew O’Brien Community Builder of the Year

 

PHOENIX - (Oct. 26, 2023) – LAVIDGE was honored today with 12 2023 TIM Awards; 10 for Excellence and one for Mastery—and one for building community.

LAVIDGE took home 12 trophies from the AZIMA 2023 TIM Awards.Most notably, LAVIDGE Chief Innovation Officer Stephen Heitz had the honor of being named Matthew O’Brien Community Builder of the Year—bringing the total number of accolades earned for the Phoenix-area full-service advertising agency to an even dozen.

Hosted by the Arizona Innovation Marketing Association (AZIMA), the annual TIM Awards are named for Sir Timothy Berners-Lee, the acknowledged father of the World Wide Web.

LAVIDGE’s awards represent a variety of client work completed between July 1, 2022, and June 30 in categories including integrated consumer campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO), search marketing (PPC), a web application and a video ad.

Heitz, who currently serves on the AZIMA board as Treasurer, and is a past president and the first recipient of the Matthew O’Brien Community Builder of the Year award, established in memory of the late founding member of the AZIMA board, author, and founder of MINT Social after his death early last year.

“I'm humbled to receive the Matthew O'Brien Community Builder of the Year award,” Heitz noted in a LinkedIn post. “Matt inspires me; he was such a great community builder, and I know I'm not even in his league. Thank you, Matt, for never giving up on our community and helping build this ecosystem. We miss you so much.”

Heitz joined LAVIDGE in 2006 as managing director, Interactive. He was promoted in 2017 to the role of Chief Innovation Officer for his work unifying media, technology, digital and client service teams agencywide. Recognition soon followed from the Phoenix Business Journal which named him its 2019 CIO of the Year.
