Debi once went an entire week without TV, and believes this
inspired her overall philosophy of communication: "Less is
more." She began working as a graphic designer in the 1980s,
armed with a visual communications degree from the University of
Arizona, then moved into advertising. Then back to design. Then
advertising, and so on, exploring how each field enhances the
other. Now she combines both for The Lavidge Company, focusing on
inspired creative that reflects brand-centered marketing. Debi puts
that same flair to work when she shops for antique typewriters. Her
collection reflects her passion for great design.
