LAVIDGE COO Alicia Wadas Elected to FBI National Citizens Academy Alumni Association Board

PHOENIX (Jan. 20, 2017) – Alicia Wadas, chief operating officer of LAVIDGE, a full-service advertising, public relations and interactive marketing agency, has been elected to the board of the FBI National Citizens Academy Alumni Association Inc. (FBINCAAA).

As part of the FBINCAAA, Wadas will serve as a national director leading chapter training for the 60 chapters across the country. Training will focus on educating chapters on best practices for successful organizations as they work to help fulfill the community outreach mission of the FBI.

After graduating from the FBI Phoenix Citizens Academy in 2008, Wadas joined as a lifetime member of the FBI Phoenix Citizens Academy Alumni Association and was elected to the chapter board of directors. During her seven years on the Phoenix board, Wadas served in multiple roles including president.

Wadas recently served the FBINCAAA as Regional Chapter Coordinator for Region 5, one of five national regions and was responsible for assisting chapters by providing standards, guidance and assistance and encouraging the development, growth and effectiveness of the chapters.

Since joining LAVIDGE in 2004, Wadas has worked closely with the management team to grow the locally based full-service advertising and marketing firm into one of the leading agencies in the Southwest.

Named by AZ Business Magazine as one of the “50 Most Influential Women in Arizona Business”, Alicia also serves as a director for Independent Newsmedia, a publisher of 24 community newspapers in four states, and as president of Intermarket Agency Network, an association of 15 independently owned agencies. Alicia is on the advisory board of GratitudeAmerica, a nonprofit dedicated to providing critical support for military service members and their families during their return to civilian life.
