The Role: Digital Media Supervisor

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, economics, data science or related field.
  • 7 years of digital media experience ideally within an agency
  • Ability to handle difficult situations professionally and tactfully
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, dependable with previous experience working in a team environment
  • Proven behavior that is pleasant, friendly and customer oriented at all times
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess an ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Knowledge of digital media technologies including ad servers, DSPs and DMPs. Fluent in PPC platform automated features, metrics and attribution methodology including best practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office products, primarily PowerPoint and Excel including pivot tables, macros, sum and vlookup functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with accurate use of punctuation and grammar.

FLA STATUS: Salaried Exempt

Essential Functions:

Planning and Buying Responsibilities (70%)

In this capacity you will work closely with clients, digital and traditional media teams, account executives and digital strategists, vendors and the LAVIDGE in-house trading desk to:

  • Provide effective digital media plans that meet and exceed client advertising related business goals. Build and maintain media plan flowcharts and presentations.
  • Execute digital media campaigns for multiple clients including PPC search and social across Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, Bing as well as programmatic and site direct buys.
  • Optimize PPC self-serve campaigns against KPIs such as lead volume, site traffic, reach, CPA, CPM, viewability or offline results.
  • Make strategic recommendations for testing and optimizations to improve performance for the client and internal teams on an ongoing basis.
  • Setup campaigns for appropriate ad and conversion tracking in vendor platforms, ad server, brand safety, CRM, and analytics tools.
  • Reporting campaign performance by preparing decks and/or other reports from multiple tracking and analytics sources.
  • Oversee client and vendor media billing promptly and accurately. Discrepancies handled in a timely manner.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices. Manage and maintain vendor relationships including methodology and product roadmaps of each platform.
  • Assist the digital media team in other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities (30%)

  • Provide effective digital media plans that meet and exceed client advertising related business goals. Build and maintain media plan flowcharts and presentations.
  • Manage the priorities and workflow of client media-related issues, create solutions and resolve problems.
  • Maximize engagement of the Digital Media Strategists in all aspects of the strategy planning and media buying process as opportunities arise.
  • Supervise the activity and daily outcomes of junior staff and interns.
  • Educate junior staff and interns on client(s) business and media industry.
  • Guide junior staff and interns to professional and career development best practices. Work with AMD to create growth plans and provide clear career goals.
