Humor is the universal ice-breaker. Moving into an assisted living community is scary. Moving into a Christian-based care community can seem formal and serious.
We tackled both of these hurdles with insight from real residents. They talk more about faith than religion, giving the community a welcoming feeling. We downplayed “Christian-based” and focused on faith – with a twist.
Humorous headlines were used to say, “hey, there’s nothing stuffy or scary about this place.” Photos of real residents enjoying their favorite (and rowdy) activities help break the ice and show the genuine side of Fellowship Square.
