THE LAVIDGE COMPANY NOMINATED FOR THE 12th ANNUAL WEBBY AWARDS
Phoenix Ad Agency Joins the Internet Elite with their First Nomination
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – (May 01, 2008) – The 12th Annual Webby Awards has nominated The Lavidge Company for “Best Services Web site of 2008” for its work on the LifeLock Web site. Working closely with LifeLock’s internal marketing and technology groups, the project team was led by Interactive Director Stephen Heitz and includes Shaun Jensen, Jessica Wilkinson, Scott Sanders and Jacob Boyle.
This is the first Webby Awards nomination for The Lavidge Company- Arizona’s only company nominated in the Services category.
“The Interactive department comprises a bright and talented team and I am so proud of the success we have achieved on the LifeLock Web site,” Heitz said. “LifeLock was one of our first projects since joining The Lavidge Company in 2006, so it is exciting to see this project come full circle with our hard work and innovation already recognized.”
LifeLock’s site provides user-friendly service and a high conversion rate of visitors to customers making it an exemplary site. LifeLock’s CEO Todd Davis gives out his Social Security number on the home page. The Web site is used by 80% of all members joining LifeLock without requiring call center support. Other unique features include the “How it Works” section and the simple one-page enrollment form allowing entire households to become members in a single step.
Winners will be announced on May 6th, 2008 and honored at The 12th Annual Webby Awards in New York City on June 10th. The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet, including Websites, Interactive Advertising, Online Film and Video and Mobile Websites. The awards are judged by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.

As a nominee for a Webby Award, the Phoenix ad agency is also eligible to win a People’s Voice Award. People’s Voice voting is open to the public from April 8th to May 1st at http://pv.webbyawards.com.
The 12th Annual Webby Awards received nearly 10,000 entries from over 60 countries and all 50 states.
