THE LAVIDGE COMPANY ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR OF CLIENT SERVICES
Phoenix advertising agency adds new hires and promotes from within

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – (August 06, 2008) – The Lavidge Company (TLC), a leading advertising, interactive and public relations firm based in Scottsdale, announced today the addition of Ed Munro as director of client services, as well as a series of new hires and promotions.
“The Lavidge Company has always had great success in attracting top talent to our roster and this group is no exception. We are excited to welcome Ed and others into our family,” said CEO Bill Lavidge. “These additions to our staff will allow us to expand the services we offer to existing clients and attract new accounts. We are growing at such a fast pace, I may have to start requiring name tags.”
Edward Munro joins The Lavidge Company as director of client services fresh from Birmingham, Alabama, where he worked with O2 Ideas for the past six years. Munro has worked in advertising for more than 16 years. During his time with O2, he led account teams for clients such as The Home Depot, Verizon Wireless, Toys”R”Us, Mars Petcare and Taylor Morrison. His background includes automotive experience with clients such as Mazda, Volvo and Chevrolet and retail with clients that include Saks Fifth Avenue and United States Bakery.
Munro developed his QSR marketing acumen while serving as a Regional Marketing Supervisor with McDonald’s Corporation in the Columbus, Ohio region. While with McDonald’s, he worked extensively in developing in-store POP programs that delivered increased average check sales over a three month period. His skills at analyzing markets, leading development of creative materials, and coordinating retail and corporate brand management strategy will be put to work on all Lavidge accounts as he leads the client services team. Munro has a bachelor of arts in communications from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia and a diploma in sales and marketing from Vancouver Community College, also in BC.

The new hires include Valerie Whitmore who joins The Lavidge Company as senior accountant. Whitmore has over 15 years experience in various accounting capacities including CSW Bookkeeping, KB Homes, Southwest Visitors Publications, L.L.C and Beazer Homes.
Neil Benson was hired as interactive media coordinator for the Phoenix advertising agency. Benson attended The Art Institute of Phoenix and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising. Previously, Benson was interning at Moses Anshell in the client services department.
Chris Smith joins TLC as web developer. With previous local positions at CAFM Solutions and KDRA, Smith brings his frameworking / design capabilities and knowledge from the University of Phoenix where he has both a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a Master’s in Information Systems.
Eric Florez was hired as web integrator and comes from Design44 where he was a lead production/web integrator. Florez supports the interactive team with his skills in scripting and programming.
Kelsee Resinek also joins The Lavidge Company as web integrator. A recent graduate from Arizona State University, Resinek has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Art and Intermedia. Resinek previously worked at Text Link Brokers.
Kendra States was promoted to public relations account executive. States has been with the Phoenix advertising agency for two years, beginning in the internship program, she quickly became an account coordinator and then junior account executive.
Nicole Fotis was promoted to traffic manager. Fotis, a graduate of ASU, also joined
TLC as an intern in April of 2007 and worked her way up to senior traffic administrator prior to the recent promotion.
