PHOENIX (October 25, 2010) -- The Lavidge Company (TLC), a Phoenix advertising agency, offering a full menu of services including advertising, public relations, marketing communications, consulting and interactive marketing, is excited to announce a deal that rejoins two former TLC employees with the agency and includes several brand name clients that will come with them. Debi Mees, former Chapter Two creative director, and Randy Schultz, former Chapter Two art director, became part of the Lavidge team in September.

Chapter Two was a Scottsdale-based marketing and design firm founded in 2004 that specialized in the broad all-ages and untapped mature markets.  The agency enjoyed success with clients such as Del Webb, Pulte Homes, and Centex Homes. Their work covered sales office environments, collateral systems, advertising campaigns, national sales promotions, branding, E-blasts, website design and copy support, broadcast campaigns, community naming, logos, signage, and more.

Debi Mees will join TLC as Director of Marketing Services as part of the "boutique" Lavidge Marketing Services (LMS) group within the larger Phoenix advertising agency, enabling them to continue serving Chapter Two clients as well as LMS's current accounts.  Debi started out 25 years ago as a graphic designer working on corporate identity programs, collateral & packaging design and signage programs, moving into advertising campaigns, print, broadcast, direct mail and web projects.  She began as a designer/writer at Richardson and Richardson and worked her way up to Co-Creative Director before moving onto Lavidge & Baumayr as Senior Art Director and once again moving up to Co-Creative Director.  Mees was an original member of the Chapter Two team serving as Creative Director.  She has worked on clients such as Del Webb, Apple Computer, Disney Development Company, Pointe Hilton Resorts, Dial Corporation, Arizona Science Center, Pulte Homes and Kierland Commons.  Mees is a graduate of University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in visual communications.

Randy Schultz will move into the position of Art Director at TLC.  Schultz worked as a Graphic Designer at Sulcus Hospitality Group at the beginning of his twenty year career. In 1994, he co-founded his own design firm ImageGarden Media.  After three years, he moved back into the corporate world as Art Director in Interactive Services at Performance Quest, International.  Schultz joined Lavidge & Baumayr in 2002 as Art Director and went on to be an original team member at Chapter Two as Art Director.  He holds a bachelor's degree in advertising design from Oklahoma Christian University.
